The results of this study were published in the German journal «Freundin». According to the published results, the best number of sex partners is ten exactly. Experience in the intimate sphere appears just with so many lovers or mistresses. About a third of the women who took part in this study said that they had had intimate contact with eight to twelve men in their entire life.

The survey also found that about 35 percent of women would like to know for sure how many female partners their men had before they met. But only 30 percent of men would like to know the same about their lifemates.
